PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

Will Turner: Will you marry me?
Elizabeth Swann: I don't think now's the best time!
Will Turner: Now may be the only time! I love you. I've made my choice. What's yours?
Elizabeth Swann: Barbossa!
[Will shocked because of her 'choice']
Elizabeth Swann: [to Barbossa] Marry us!
[Will is relieved]
Barbossa: I'm a little busy at the moment!

Jack Sparrow: William, tell me somethin'. Have you come because you need my help to save a certain distressin' damsel? Or... rather damsel in distress? Either one...
Will Turner: No.
Jack Sparrow: Well, then you wouldn't be here, would you? So you can't be here! Q.E.D. - you're not really here!

Of all the Walt Disney films, this is definitely the bast action-adveture film of our time.
I've seen the first tow installment of the film, both films were good, and i can say that if you loved and enjoyed the comedy and the fight scenes of the first and second films, then you'll really enjoy the third part of the series.
The story itself is great and very unpredictable. you will surely be surprised in the twists of the story. there were lots of secrets of the story which I am not gonna tell, I don't want to spoil everything, so you have to watch this film.
the movie is long, i think 3 hours or so, but i assure you, there is n boring part.
Every scene is imporatnt, every scene is breathtaking, I am sure you don't want to miss a single moment of this film.

Of course the fight scenes and stunts are better and longer, there's a whole lot of pirates from different countries have decided to join the crew and fight, there were Japanese, french, arabian, Singaporean Pirates. You will definitely be glued to your seats. Of course more flying, more explosions and so on.

The comedy is still there of course, I spend the whole time watching the film laughing, they really got my attention, every scene is funny, especially when they throw their punchlines.

there were new characters , Captain Barbossa is back, more foreign pirates including Chow Yun Fat, and Callypso.

The acting is great, better than the two films, I really like Johnny Depp's portrayal of Jack Sparrow, i like the way he talks and acts, i can say he did a great job, an award-winning performance.

The cinematography is great, I love the way they presented the film, the editing is nice either, the camera angles or the way they captured the film is fantastic, specially the part when they showed Jack Sparrow alone in a strange place, they really showed the loneliness and emptiness of the place, its really fantastic.

the director Gore Verbinski did a great job , its really genius, he knows how to capture the audience attention, its really brilliant.

Overall, I give this film "A+" for a very outstanding performance, great story, fantastic cinematography and brilliant direction.

BEDTIME STORIES

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A-
Visuals: A+

REVIEW:

Finally, Adam Sandler has done something different this time, I've seen some of his films and all of it has nudity, foul languages and more. This time he was sensitive, he made the film funny without those stimulants (nudity, sex, etc.). The film was great, its a good movie for both kida and adult, we really enjoyed watching it. There were many unforgettable scenes, I love the twist of the last bedtime story, when Adam Sandler thought he was gonna catch fire or he was going to be burned but it wasn't as he expected it would be, turns out he was going to be fired. I love the characters, the kids were great, but my favorite character is BUGSY, lol...I love his eyes..so big.
The ending is great, they gave justice to Adam Sandler's character, because at first I really pity him because he worked for the hotel for 25 years and he is just the janitor/maintenance, and the fact that his father owned the business.
Overall, it is a great family-movie, very funny film. You will learn a lot of lessons in his film. I highly recommend you to watch this film.

PLOT:

Hotel handyman Skeeter Bronson's life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but it's the kids' unexpected contributions that turn Skeeter's life upside down.

GHOST TOWN

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A-
Visuals: A+

Its been a while since I have seen ghost/romance movies like this, the last one was I guess Reese Witherspoon's JUST LIKE HEAVEN, and I can say this movie was fantastic, I think they got the story from PATRICK SWAYZE's movie GHOST, but this is better than the two movies I've mentioned.
The movie was funny, heartfelt, touching, a great movie..I love the story.
It was very entertaining, i love the idea of ghosts and their unfinished business. I like the twist, Dr. Pincus died twice, and Frank was the one who should let go of Tea Leoni, not her. I like the part, when Pincus listened to the ghosts and did their unfinished business, I love it, especially about the son who lost his toy squirrel and he cries every night because the toy for him was his dad who past away.

Great romantic-comedy film, Ricky Gervais is funny, I love his accent but I kinda hate the way he act, but his funny but he has got to stop his dental jokes, they're very lame.

I love this film...I highly recommend this film, you should all watch it, especially those who love to watch romantic comedy films.

PLOT:
Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy, who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle, with spirited results.

MEET DAVE

Story: B+
Acting: B-
Direction: A-
Visuals: A+

I was really having second thoughts whether or not I will watch this film because of the review, some said it was worst...but for me I think its quite good..
I really don't like the films of Eddie Murphy, the only film he has done that I like was the Haunted Mansion, and this film MEET DAVE I can say that this movie is quite good.
Its a very clean, very funny and sensitive family - movie. My brother and I watch this, and it was really funny, very entertaining.
Every part was funny. especially, when he was hit by a car and he broke his leg, that was very funny. And also when the small persons inside Dave's body adopt the attitudes of the people in Earth, that was funny, specially the weapon manager who turned out to be gay, lol....
The story line was creative, sort of a X-Files meet Terminator, the lesson is nice, especially the scene when Dave slept on the streets and the poor guy offered him his blanket, the one who doesn't have anything is the who gives, sorta.
I think its great, and for me Its the best family-movie in 2008.

PLOT:
A massive fireball from space hits New York's Central Park and an ordinary man emerges unscathed. The man turns out to be a spaceship operated by 100 human-looking aliens who are one-quarter inch tall and seeking a way to save their planet; complications ensue when their captain falls in love with an Earth woman who's always picked losers for previous romances.

REVIEW:

HOLY CRAP...This is the worst zombie film ever...it didn't scare me..I didn't even finish it, very boring. I don't like the idea of reporter crew thing..I hate the way it was shot, very disturbing, the camera moves a lot. I obviously hate the direction,I hate the story, but at least the virus didn't spread, they were confined so that they won't be roaming around the city...Lightings are bad, I can't see a damn thing.

DON'T WATCH THIS FILM
PLOT:

For a reality TV show about people who work while the rest of the world is asleep, reporter Angela Vidal and her cameraman, Scott, are assigned to cover a night shift with a pair of firemen at a Los Angeles fire station. After an uneventful evening, a 911 distress call in the middle of the night takes them to a small apartment building downtown. Police officers are already on the scene in response to bloodcurdling screams coming from an apartment on the third floor. Having stumbled onto a breaking story, Angela and Scott are determined to get it all on tape. Entering the apartment unit to investigate, they find an old woman in a nightgown, standing alone in the dark. She's covered in blood, her breathing erratic and raspy. She seems sick. And when a policeman approaches to help her, she suddenly attacks--with her teeth. The group subdues the woman and tries to get help for the injured policeman. But when they attempt to leave the complex, they find that the CDC has quarantined the building. All exits are sealed and guarded by heavily armed men. Telephone, internet, TV, and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials won't give any explanation to those locked inside. The apartment complex and its residents quickly descend into panic. Trying to make sense of what's happening, the inhabitants are forced to look to each other for help. Then there's another scream from above. In the atrium lobby where everyone is gathered, a body falls to the ground from the third floor. And the attacks begin again. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the cameraman's videotape.

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

Story: A+
Acting: A+

REVIEW:
I saw the film before i have read the book, I can say that they really followed the book, thy changed some stuffs but minor only, although there were some parts of the book that for me was important but never shown in the movie, one of this was, Mcgonall was stunned by four stunners because she was helping Hagrid to escape or somewhat then she went to tjhe Hospital wing. One thing I noticed was, the scenes were fast, for me it has a very bad editing, the scenes just jump from one to other. Other thing I noticed was that in the book there were more nightmares and so in the movie I guess I've only seen four nightmares. But the important thing is, I really enjoyed the film, the graphics were improved and so as their actings. The new characters were great, although they weren't really what I expected they would be. Like Umbridge, i expected her to be more fat, more ugly, but of course they won't show that kind of person in the film, I understand that they will look her more presentable. Luna Lovegood was great, she looks really innocent and weird, Evanna Lynch did a great job portaring her, it was like portraying an innocent kid. Neville's acting and appearance was improved, he doesn't look dumb anymore.
aside from the effects, I love the new settings, especially the MINISTRY OF MAGIC, they really presented it just the way the book did.
I also like the DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY SESSIONS, but the spells were wrong, stupefy is a jet of red light, in the film it was blue.
But my favorite part of the film was the Battle in the Ministry but I would suggest they should follow the book, Hermione was injured by Dolohov's Curse, Nevill was the one who broke the prophecy, Ron was attacked by brains. I really like the part when Sirius died, really creative, It was hard on Harry's part to see someone close to you die before you..
One thing great about the film was the battle of Voldemort and Dumbledore, it was fantastic, best battle ever in Harry Potter films.
Overall, Its a great movie, I highly recommend this to everyone, if you're a big fan of Harry you will love this film.

PLOT:

As his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry approaches, 15-year-old Harry Potter is in full-blown adolescence, complete with regular outbursts of rage, a nearly debilitating crush, and the blooming of a powerful sense of rebellion. It's been yet another infuriating and boring summer with the despicable Dursleys, this time with minimal contact from our hero's non-Muggle friends from school. Harry is feeling especially edgy at the lack of news from the magic world, wondering when the freshly revived evil Lord Voldemort will strike. Returning to Hogwarts will be a relief--or will it?

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A-
Visuals: A+

One thing I noticed in the film was they changed everything, not everything maybe almost...they omitted a lot of characters like Bill, Charlie, Percy, Ludo Bagman, Winky, Dobby, Bertha.. I know some of them are not really that important but they should have introduced them...
other thing was some parts of the movie wasn't in the book, some parts appeared but they were changed like the death of mr. Crouch, Mr.Crouch in the book became mad hen hary and Krum found him, in the movie Hary found fim and his already dead, in the book Harry hadn't seen Barty Crouch jr. until he saw hik in the Pensieve, in the movie, he first saw Crouch in his dream. other was, the Dursleys weren't shown in the film, it would be great though if they put the Dursleys part where the Weasleys went to their house to get Harry, that was a good part.
Even though there were some flaws, the movie is still enjoyable, nice visuals, good acting. The new characters were great, especially Moody and Cho. Cho was really pretty, innocent looking Chinese girl. I love the Yule Ball scene, Hermione (Emma watson) was realy hot and pretty in her dress robes, wow they really grew up so fast. Can't believe its her, she's really pretty, I love Emma watson. Though they changed some parts the movie is still understandable, which is good.
Overall, the movie was entertaining, enjoyable, amazing, brilliant.....
Its a must-see movie..

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

Wow...I can say that the concept is great, Hogwarts was bigger I think, New characters, Emma Thompson did a great job portaraying Prof. Trelawney, just what I really expected. For me, I kinda like how the movie presented it than the book, In the book Lupin first saw Peter in the map, but in the movie, Harry was the one who found Peter in the map...The story is great.
wow. they grew up so fast...Its not really the exact adaptation , they chanhed somethings, there were supposed to be more characters in this film, Cho was supposed to appear in this film, I hope they added more Quidditch scenes especially, the last match where the Gryffindors won the Quidditch Cup. They should have told the audience how Sirius escaped the Azkaban, how they found out about Peter living with Ron, so that the audience won't be confused.
Overall, the movie was great, their acting and effects were improved.
I noticed that the actor that plays Dumbledore had been changed, I kinda like the new dumbledore than the first one, he was too old for the film, but the new Dumbledore (Micheal Gambon) was really fit for the job.
I love the credit, where Harry casted the Lumos, and it was sorta like the MArauders Map, amazing...Brilliant

HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

Now, this film is my favorite Harry Potter Film, this holds the some information of Voldemort's transformation and immortality.
Chris Columbus does it again...The story is great, nice visuals, just waht i have picture in my mind...the actors did a great job...
I love the film, specially the fight scene between the basilisk and Harry..
Although they have done some flaws...
young witches and wizards are not allowed to use magic outside school, but Hermione did, she repaired Harry's Glasses using Oculus Reparo in the Diagon Alley.
But still, its great.
Ron was very funny specially the part where they went to the Forbidden Forest and they saw the giant spiders, Ron was very terrified and he looks so funny.
A nice flm, adveture, fantasy, with a bit of humor.
The acting was improved, the actors too look more pretty and handsome, bit of change.
There were parts of the book that wasn't mentioned in the film.
But it was nice, a movie for he whole family.

HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

I've read the book, and i suggest if youre a Harry Potter fan, read the books because some parts of the book was omitted in the films.
The movie was great, I Love the direction, their lines are very similar to the books, this film is so nice, its a family movie, a story full of fantasy and adventure.
Chris Columbus did a great job and so as the actors, the scene and the characters was what i really expected.
The only flaw was they didn't put that much time to put Quirell in the scenes, he has a big role in the story, they should have shown how Quirell look so weird because in the book they have mentioned scenes where Quirell talks to himself, things like that so that the audience will feel how unbelievable it is that Quirell was a traitor.
Well, Overall, the movie is great, I've seen it when I was just a kid maybe 5th Grade so I forgot all about it, I read the books, then I decided to watch the films again, and I was glad that they gave justice to the book.

THE DARK KNIGHT

Story: A+
Acting: A+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

This film is Amazing..This is one of the best films ever made...Chistoper Nolan did a very great job..The movie is so dark, serious..of all the batman films, this is the best so far..Joker was the best villain ever..Ledger is a legend,...Im so sad that he past away, he did a really good job portaying the role of the madman JOKER, I really enjoy watching the film, some parts are funny, the action scenes are great, the story is extarordinary...Overall, the movie is so stunning...this movies deserves an OSCAR. TWO-FACE was amazing, pity he only had a few moments as a villain, I think he died at the end, but rumors says there will be a third installment of the film, the villains will be Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, Joker will get his revenge...but the company says they haven't talk about it yet..But I will be happy if there will be BATMAN 3, and much more happy if Riddler will be in the third movie.
One thing I love about the film was the qoutes, Joker's qoutes like "WHY SO SERIOUS?", and my favorite "Madness is like a gravity all it takes is a little push"..

This film is simply awesome, Nolan created a masterpiece
Certainly, A film to watch...

SPIDERMAN III

Story: B-
Acting: B+
Direction: A+
Visuals: A-

The film is good, more villains, new suit, new characters...We (my family) enjoyed watching it, it was a nice movie, I love Eddie Brock's Role annoying and kinda bad. The Venom was good, the only problem is when he talks his Venom face vanishes showing Eddie Brock's Face, it would have been better and more exciting if they focused more time in showing Venom, like Venom attacking the City, or more Venom-Spidey encounter, the film only showed one encounter with the VEnom. Harry's character "New Goblin" wasn't in the comic books, I think the writer just inserted him as a villain at first, But he should have been the HOBGOBLIN. The romance between MJ and Peter was disturbing, I don't like it, who was the new Blonde Girl and what was her role.
Overall, I felt dissapointed but satisfied, it was a great movie but I can say the 1st and the 2nd film is better.

OPEN SEASON 2

Story: B-
Acting: B-
Direction: B-
Visuals: B-

OPEN SEASON 2

I kinda like the first one, for some reasons, they had changed the actors, the plot is focused more on MR. Weenie, than the original characters Ellit and Boog, The title doesn't ft anymore, because they haven't mentioned anything about open season in the movie, for me it the title should be, ELLIOT AND BOOG: RESCUE MISSION, because that's what the story is all about.
Anyway, the story is kinda great, there were few good lessons, like you should be with someone you love and someone who loves you..I think that was the lesson of the film.
Overall, Its a good movie, nice visuals, good for kids, and very hilarious..specially Elliot and his antlers...lol.

SHREK THE THIRD

Story: C+
Acting: B
Direction: B-
Visuals: B-

SHREK THE THIRD

Im not a realy a Shrek fan, Ive seen the second movie, I kinda like it, but the third installment of the film wasn't that great, yeah its a good movie, lots of lessons to be learned, the only problem is they added too much character, and the plot isn't that great either, they focused more on Artie and Charming than Shrek and the Gang, the film should be titled SHREK AND ARTIE joke...
But even though it wasn't that good at leats it's kinda entertaining, some parts are funny. There are some parts which I found non-sense specially the "theater part" where Charming performs then he has to kill Shrek it was pointless I guess, He could have done it in other place. It's just my opinion though.

BOLT

Story: A+
Acting: A-
Direction: A+
Visuals: A+

WOW...This movie is very funny...the funniest aniamted film i've ever seen so far..the characters are hilarious especially Rhino the HAmster, he's so cute and fat. The Disney did it again, another wonderful movie not just for kids but for adults also. I recommend you to watch this film, there are lots of moral lessons that can be learned. My brother and I loved the film so much that we named our pet Bolt.

DISASTER MOVIE

Story: D-
Acting: C-
Direction: D+
Visuals: C-

DISASTER MOVIE was a disaster

The movie wasn't really that horrible, funny in some parts but majority of the scenes were kinda immature. It was weird, but at least the "Disaster movie" did better than the other films they made like Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Superhero Movie. They spoofed a lot in this film including Batman, Sex and the City, Jumper etc. It made me laugh a couple of times but I think it was too much, it was kinda lame. The movie was good but the story is dumb.

At first, I thought it was going to be a waste of money but after watching, turned out that it was worth it. (kinda)

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3

Story: B-
Acting: B-
Direction: B+
Visuals: A-

For me, high school musical 1 is better than the latest installment of the movie the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. The movie is great, but the story itself was kinda disturbing because of all the songs. I kinda hate the first part of the film, or the first 40 minutes of the film, I didn't understand the story because of all the singing scene, the movie featured less talk, more singing. The first movie is better than this film, maybe because they focused more on the story and the songs are few maybe 7 songs, but in this film, they focused more on the music, songs rather than to focus to the story.
But, heres the positive comment, I kinda like the @nd part of the film, the "PROM SCENE", the whole "GOING TO COLLEGE DILLEMA SCENE", the GRADUATION SCENE and the whole GOODBYE SCENE, i was able to relate to the 2nd part of the story.
Overall, the movie is entertaining, the story is quite good, the ending is nice, they gave justice to the story (i guess),the songs are beautiful, the choreography is genius.

TWILIGHT

Story: A-
Acting: B-
Direction: C+
Visuals: A-

What's with this film anyway, why are they so crazy about this film? is it because of the story? or because of the cute characters? hehehe
I decided to watch this film to find out why people are so obsessed with Edward and Bella (the characters from the film) ...
Let me tell you, its not really the best film I have ever seen but at least they met all my expectations, except for one, no BED SCENE, joke.
Anyway, The theater was full of frenzied teenagers who were obviously cult followers of the book. I think the movie is great, I haven't really read the book, not a fan either but I can say that it was a good film. The actors are great, Kristin Stewart nailed her part well. Robert Pattinson (i hate it when he shows up in a scene, the girls keep on screaming until he vanishes from the scene), well he did well too. What
This is definitely a movie to see.
The only thing I had a teensy problem with was all the super-sweeping camera angles. Very nice at times, but you could tell they liked that way of filming.
Even if you've NEVER read the books, you WILL enjoy this story, also.
I know I'll be back to see it again.

SAW V

SAW V

Story: B-
Acting: C-

I don't really enjoy watching disgusting slash bloody violent films like this, heads removed, blood splattered, urgh!!
The film is disgusting but the end was unbelievable, the twist was.wow..GREAT. I haven't seen the other saw movies, I've only seen the fourth and the fifth installment of the film. Every scene was disgusting, torturing, but the flow was nice.
The ending was great, I can't believe how it ended. The twist was great. Im happy this is the end of the franchise. they won't make another film like this...
I only like ending of the film that's all, the remaining was trash...

PROM NIGHT

PROM NIGHT

Story: A-
Acting: A-
Direction: B+

Wow...creative, thrilling, designed for teens. Great movie, scared the crap out of me , not really that scary but gives me the creeps though...
the story is incredible...poor girl...lost her family and friends...how sad....
I didn't saw the original but i feel this is way better.
Great direction, creepy sound effects, nice timing, great villain. everything's good.
I really enjoy watching crime/suspense films tahn watching those studpid zombie films, same plots, but this one is wow..somehow real.
overall, the movie was great, you should all watch it.

1408

1408

Story: C
Acting: B-
Direction: B-
Visuals: B-

Well, it wasn't really as I expected, Im not dissapointed though. I think its a good movie, but I was expecting it to be more scary, more thrilling, because it was based on the story by Stephen King. It wasn't that scary, ok some parts of it was frightening but it turned out to be a dramatic film...
I like the story though, the twist...
Great film you should watch it..

THE INCREDIBLE HULK

THE INCREDIBLE HULK

Story: B-
Acting: A-
Direction: A+
Visuals: B+

Finally, they did it. The first one was a nightmare...this is better, good-effects, great story, mean villain compared to the first one (Giant Dogs...lame).
I love the story, especially the ending, when Tony Stark appeared, I think that's why they made a sequel to the Hulk is because they're planning to make an Avengers Movie, I think they're working the script now, then Captain America will also appear in theaters soon.
I love the plot, Im happy that he can control his anger now, he can be Hulk anytime he want...that's great right...
Well anyway, this film is great, you should watch it.

YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN

You Don't Mess with the Zohan

Story: C-
Acting: C-
Direction: D
Visuals: c-

For me I can describe the movie simply....
Its funny but POINTLESS...

its very rude, full of nudity, somehow violent.

The beggining was kinda funny but the problem is it deals with nudity, who would want their fish to stuck into their butt. My cousins found it funny, but i really think its disgusting...

Why did Sandler do this film?...worse..Why did they ever make this film?

Adam Sandler can do better than this...Ive seen his films...they're way better than this one..

And story is bad either...
